It is very hard to put an effective title to a story. Titles do not come easy. When choosing a title, you have to consider the length of the title, how it pertains to the story that you are writing, how it fits on the cover of your book and whether the title will draw people to want to buy and read the book.
Alan and I had a great weekend at the beach earlier in the month. We celebrated our 57th wedding anniversary at Ocean Shores, Washington. On the evening of our anniversary, we sat in our car on the beach watching a magnificent sunset. The beauty and power of the sea is awesome when you view it with the sun going down. It always demonstrates to me how small we humans are in comparison to the rest of the world.
I have done a couple of podcasts lately. One I did on Tuesday 9/17 on “Deal By Me Podcast with James Smith and the other on 9/18 on Downtown Hott Radio hosted by Walil Archer. Both of the interviews were fun to do. The hosts had very different styles and asked interesting questions. Both seemed fascinated that I started writing at such an advanced age. I have another podcast interview tomorrow morning. I will be interviewed on the Zach Feldman Show. I will post the links to the shows as soon as I get them.
Friday, 9/20/24
I just finished the Zach Feldman Show podcast. It was an audio only interview and he will send me the link when it is broadcast. I will post all three interviews when I get the links.
I have been busy writing another book in the Journey to the Pacific series. It is untitled yet, but will take the town of Rawlings and it’s citizens further into the 20th Century and through World War 1. This book entails a lot of research in order to get dates, times and places accurate. Thank goodness for the internet and Google.
Please everyone, have a great weekend and drive safely. I am seeing a lot of crazies on the road lately and want you all to be safe.
