Exciting times

We are already into February of 2024. Time is speeding buy. Alan and I spent a week in Yucca Valley with our Granddaughter, her husband, and new Great-Granddaughter, Noah. She is a beautiful baby and we were under her spell immediately. Also we had a chance to to to Blythe, California and attend the Blythe Bluegrass Festival. What fun to see it again and to listen to some good bluegrass music. We also had a chance to have dinner with some good friends in Blythe, Lois and Stephanie.

My new book, Journey to the Pacific, One Man’s Quest is available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Thrift books and Reader’s Magnet book store. Check it out. I was invited to participate in the Festival of Storytellers 2024 sponsored by Readers Magnet. I was in two roundtable discussions, one about “Creating Authentic Characters in Creative Writing”, the other one about the “Importance of Editing in Manuscript Development”. Both were very interesting discussions with other authors around the country writing in all different genre’s. I learned a lot in both discussions.

On February 27, I am going to be interviewed by Logan Crawford for Spotlight Network Television. I am very excited about the prospect of publicizing my book all over the country. When I receive the copy of the show, I will post it on this web site. It can also be seen on Spotlight Network TV on Roku about five days after taping.

I continue to write. The writing of the sequel to Journey is done and in the editing phase now. In a few months, I will send it in to the publisher and I am in the process of writing a new novel about a young female attorney who lives in San Diego. She has some family and professional problems as she tries to establish her career in the legal field. It is fun to write, but takes a lot of research to make sure I have the facts correct for the legal field in the 1960’s.

I would love to hear from any of you interested in writing books. Just contact me on this web-site.
